Videotron Just For Laughs Gala
Joan Rivers One of the hardest working celebrities in showbiz, Rivers first rose to national prominence in 1965 when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. She later became the program’s first sole guest host before going on to display her talent on Late Show with Joan Rivers and The Joan Rivers Show, for which she won a Daytime Emmy in 1990. One of the most style-savvy women on the planet, Rivers also hosted E!’s star-studded red-carpet events from 1996-2004, using the telecasts to showcase her unsurpassed ability to rattle off barbed one-liners. From her signature question “Can we talk?” to her red carpet mantra “Who are you wearing?” Rivers has made a career out of asking the tough questions the world wants to hear. This is her second appearance at Just For Laughs, and her first since bringing down the house at her own signature Gala in 2002. ![]() ![]()
